This adapter allows you to connect older PC Power Supplies with 6-pin PCI Express (PCIE) Connectors only to newer 8-Pin PCIe Graphics cards. If you use 1 x 6-pin connector only the cable will also function but only up to 75 watts, when 2 x 6-pin connectors connected it will function up to 150w which is needed by most 8-pin PCIE Connector graphics cards + if on PCIe x16 Slot up to 225W. Power conversion cables NOT recommended for GPU Mining due to cards requiring power above nominal power draw and no power supplied via direct PCIE x16 Slot due to risers used and cables will overheat and melt in the long term. Physical Damage on incorrect cable usage on a graphics card needing too many watts above the cable maximum watts will not be replaced under warranty. This Cable will provide up to 2 x 75Watts = 150Watts via the 2x6-pin connectors to 8-pin and will draw up to 75 Watt from the PCI Express x16 Slot.
