7.2 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), and collects and stores data via this service from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. These profiles serve to analyze user behavior to tailor and improve the website’s offering. Google Analytics uses “cookies,” small text files stored on your computer that allow analysis of your website usage. Information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened beforehand within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Also, usage profiles under a pseudonym will not be merged with personal data about the user without explicit consent. The balancing of interests therefore shows that no overriding interests on your part oppose this (Art. 6 I S. 1 f GDPR). You can prevent the storage of cookies using the appropriate browser settings; however, doing so may prevent full use of all website functions. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie (including your IP address) and its processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. You can also prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents your data from being collected on future visits to this website: Deactivate Google Analytics. You can find Google’s privacy notices under Privacy Policy. Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found under Analytics Terms or under Privacy Overview. We point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code “anonymizeIp” to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (IP masking).

We place affiliate and advertising links or banners on our website for certain third-party providers. Using these links/banners allows us to earn revenue (advertising reimbursements) when purchases are made via these links/banners or when the respective page is accessed. Third-party providers may use cookies to track the origin of orders or page visits. This does not affect the use of our website or create any obligation to purchase. Set affiliate and advertising links/banners merely serve to facilitate purchases. In addition, the respective providers’ privacy policies apply.
